Home Nursing Station

Since opening our clinic in 2010 to support patients who wish to spend their final days at home, we have continuously strived to provide high-quality, compassionate care. To further enhance our services, we established home nursing stations in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and Sengoku, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.

Introduction of Tetsuyu Clinical Research Center

“The Tetsuyu Clinical Research Center” opened in April 2020 as a department of research, education, and promotion at the Tetsuyu Institute Medical Corporation. The center aims to improve the quality of home healthcare, disseminate field-based insights to society, and contribute to healthcare policy.Comprising physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and statisticians from various specialties, the center conducts research to generate and accumulate evidence by analyzing and interpreting data related to home medical care. The findings are regularly presented at academic conferences and published in journals. Recently, we have been using AI technology to extract data from medical records and construct databases that facilitate efficient analysis. Additionally, we have established an Institutional Review Board (IRB) within the corporation to uphold ethical research standards. Rather than conducting research for research's sake, our focus is on evaluating skills and effectiveness in actual clinical practice. Through this approach, we strive to create meaningful evidence that contributes to advancements in home healthcare.
